Junk Removal in Chapel Hill, NC

Getting rid of bulky junk in Chapel Hill

The Town of Chapel Hill runs a paid bulky item and electronics pickup for properties where the Town collects garbage. You pay for the pickup, set the items out right away and the crew usually gets to them within five business days. The Town does not take building materials, tires, pianos, toilets, pallets, hazardous waste and a number of other items, and points residents to Orange County Solid Waste for those. See the Town of Chapel Hill bulky item page for the current fee and list.

When Junk Banana is the easier option

• Move-out season leaves a rental full of furniture and the next tenant arrives in days. See rental and property management cleanouts.
• You do not want furniture sitting at the curb for a week. We load it straight from the house onto our truck.
• It is something the Town will not take, like a piano, renovation debris or an old shed.
• You are clearing a whole garage or attic in Southern Village or Meadowmont, not just a few items.
