About us
About Junk Banana, Raleigh's junk removal crew
Same-day and next-day junk removal, property cleanouts and light demolition across Raleigh and the Triangle, with no hidden fees.
Our story
Hi, I'm Jacob Brown, owner of Junk Banana
I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and started Junk Banana at the beginning of 2026 as a side hustle. It was supposed to be a way to earn some extra money. Instead, I quickly fell in love with the work.
There is something about walking into a packed garage, a crowded storage unit or a house full of a lifetime of stuff and leaving it empty and clean. For a lot of people, that junk has been weighing on them for months. Taking it off their hands in a few hours is the best part of the job.
Today we are based in Raleigh and work all over the Triangle, from Wake Forest down to Fuquay-Varina and over to Durham and Chapel Hill. I run Junk Banana the way I would want someone to treat my own home: show up when we say we will, keep you in the loop, give you a clear price before we start and never add anything at the end.
Formerly Carolina Junk Haulers
Junk Banana is the new name for Carolina Junk Haulers. Same business, new name and a brighter look. We are based in Raleigh and work across the Triangle and surrounding areas.
As Carolina Junk Haulers, we earned a 4.9-star rating across more than 80 Google reviews. The new name is easier to remember and a lot more fun, but the owner, the crew and the way we work are exactly the same.
Reviews left for Carolina Junk Haulers still count, and you can read them on our Google Business Profile.
